Dance Unites Us isn't just an app; it's a love story with a twist, born from the most unexpected circumstances. Let us draw the curtain on its enchanting origin:

Picture this: a man and a woman find themselves stranded on a picturesque tropical island. The world around them had come to a standstill, gripped by the solitude of a global pandemic. Distances grew, not just between lands but hearts too, casting shadows on their shared passion for dance. In an era when social gatherings faded into memory, and the dance floors lay silent, they embarked on a quest—not for romance, but a dance partner. Yet, fate, with its mysterious ways, led them to discover something much more profound: love, in the least expected place, amidst the rhythm and sway.

Our Story

Corinna & Julio, from vastly different walks of life, found not just each other but a shared vision. Dance had bridged their worlds, revealing a tapestry of possibilities stretching beyond horizons. With Corinna's ingenuity already breathing life into MerMapp - a haven for mermaids and ocean enthusiasts— and Julio having dreamed of a dancing app for already several years, the duo put 1 and 1 together:

Thus, Dance Unites Us was born—a sister app to MerMapp, crafted from the threads of connection, unity, and love. A digital stage where dancers find their tribe, share their passion, and dance as one, across the globe. Welcome to Dance Unites Us, where every step tells a story, and every rhythm unites.

The Bigger Vision

As both Dance Unites Us, as well as MerMapp (the first niche-community app that was built) is only made for a small target audience, we needed a parent company to provide a home to all of these different community apps in the making.

And so APPearl was born. APPearl's mission is to build spaces for niche communities that have difficulty connecting the dots around the globe. Our mission is to bring business, people and information together in an easy and fun way, solving these issues once and for all. Community is nothing without it’s infrastructure, however; so each of these apps will donate 4% of its revenue to related causes voted on by the community, supporting the communities that support us.

Dance Unites Us is already the second app that APPearl has developed to bring people from niche communities together globally. It comes from the same insight which is that in today's world of over-saturation, it is hard to find the right things (especially if they're related to real life and real life people) at the right time without getting distracted. Both for when you're just making your first step into a new hobby, as well as when you're travelling and out of your normal zone.

Of course, there are other social media apps out there that try to give you access to all the information out there, but as it is not specialized and guided, the pure saturation of content can make it hard to tell good information from bad information, and make it difficult to not feel alone and as if you're drowning in anonymity.
